We are specialists in delivering mechanical and electrical projects within hazardous environments. 

Amongst our 35+ years we have gained a reputation for delivering projects in this area, particularly energy and the oil storage sector. Our clients include Shell, Puma Energy, & Valero Energy amongst others. We are an NICEIC hazardous area approved contractor and provide a complete solution to this specialist sector. Many of our technicians are Compex Approved and have many years experience in the industry. Continued training and refresher courses help keep us on top of the technical and safety aspects of this specialist work. 

With a long standing proven record in the industry, we have developed strong working relationships with many of the specialist equipment providers and have worked alongside multiple partners to deliver more complex or highly specialised projects.

Typically we would work from a designed project, provided by a consulting engineer. After tender, but ahead of starting work, a Mecsol project manager will be assigned to support the delivery, managing the design, delivery and working with partners and your own engineers (or consulting engineers). Our experience of the entire process allows us to identify challenges ahead of time and assist in overcoming obstacles that arise. These steps ensure that your in house engineers deliver a value engineered quality installation, coupled with the reassurance of continued support.

Using our in house software ExAMS, we can also offer our expertise in compiling Ex asset register, and manage the Atex inspections for ongoing compliance.
